On the afternoon of September 12, 2021, tongji University Wuxi Alumni Association held the 8th meeting of the 4th Council in Wuxi NOVO Automation Technology Co., LTD. Alumnus Zhu Aixun, standing committee of municipal Party Committee and executive vice Mayor of municipal government attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was chaired by President Chen Fengjun. Shen Qingsong, the former president of the alumni association, and more than 30 alumni from the party branch, advisory group, council members and secretariat members of the alumni association attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the work progress and financial income and expenditure of the alumni association since this year, listened to the introduction of the preparation and development of the alumni association's entrepreneur Club, the introduction of tonghui New Energy Vehicle Innovation Research Institute, the school-local cooperative enterprise, and explored the implementation opinions of the football culture construction of the alumni Association and other related issues. The party branch preached the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the congress celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The meeting listened to the alumni association party branch secretary Li Jian on this year since the work report. Secretary General Chen Jun reported the financial income and expenditure of the alumni association. President Chen Fengjun pointed out that since the beginning of this year, the alumni Association has achieved new results in the "three services", which are as follows: serving tin alumni to recruit frequently, serving Alma mater to make new breakthroughs in construction, and helping Tin City to achieve new achievements in development. In the next step, the alumni Association will expand its influence, gather centripetal force, cultivate new force and other aspects to promote the work of the alumni Association to continue to deepen, do a good job in the second half of the year, respect for the elderly, annual meeting, industry-university-research cooperation and other activities, promote the construction of Jiangyin, Yixing and other branches, to maintain the leading position in the city's social organizations.

After the participating members made suggestions and suggestions for the development of the alumni Association, Zhu Aixun, standing Committee member of the Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of the Municipal Government, drew blueplans and pointed out the direction for the vigorous development of the alumni Association from three dimensions: enhancing the sense of belonging of alumni, exploring the path of professional growth and broadening the scope of social contribution.

After the lecture by Li Jian, all the participating alumni thoroughly studied the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

In the exchange session of entrepreneur representatives, Zheng Jian, general manager of Wuxi NOVO Automation Technology Co., LTD., vice Chairman of the alumni introduced the company's development overview, and we visited the company's intelligent equipment manufacturing products production workshop.

The meeting also invited Li Zhilong, a teacher from the School of Automotive Engineering of Tongji University, to introduce the establishment of Tonghui New Energy Vehicle Innovation Research Institute, and to practice the development of new ideas from the school-local collaboration, resource integration and expert-led development path.

In addition, Mr. Wang Saiwei introduced the preparation of the football team of the alumni association, and put forward the idea of enhancing the cohesion of the alumni association with football culture.

The meeting of the board of directors of the alumni Association came to a successful conclusion with the cooperation of the alumni.

Immediately after the board meeting, the first meeting of the alumni association entrepreneur Club was held. The meeting listened to the progress of the preparation, discussed the organization and personnel composition of the club, explored the operation mode and development plan and other related issues. Zhang Xi made a special report on the progress of the preparation and solicited the opinions of the participating members. The entrepreneurs and alumni who attended the meeting made suggestions on strengthening organizational leadership, expanding policy horizons and strengthening foreign exchanges. It is believed that we should uphold the open and diversified operation philosophy, improve the organizational structure, connect alumni resources and strengthen external contacts. Chen Fengjun, president of the Entrepreneur Club, put forward high expectations for the operation and development of the club, and emphasized that the establishment of the organization and the composition of members should meet the relevant requirements of the administrative department on the establishment of social organizations, and ensure the policy pass. We should actively develop golden ideas and excellent projects for wuxi's economic and social development, and help wuxi entrepreneurs to walk in the forefront of the province for wuxi's high-quality development.
