Boe said the change in performance was mainly driven by a significant decline in end-consumer demand, conservative purchasing strategies of downstream brand customers and the industry's low-price competition.
In 2022, the supply and demand of semiconductor display products are out of balance, the prices of mainstream products continue to decline, and the prices of some products drop significantly. The operating performance of semiconductor display business faces great pressure; At the same time, some production lines of BOE are still facing greater depreciation pressure, and the performance of OLED and other businesses continues to be under pressure.
Shentianma: Estimated 2022 net profit of 100 million to 130 million yuan
On January 30, Shenzhen Tianma released a performance forecast for 2022. It is expected that the net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company in 2022 will be 100 million to 130 million yuan, turning a loss into a profit compared with the same period last year.

"During the reporting period, the consumer LTPS business, especially smartphones, showed weak market demand, declining prices and declining profitability, while the auto market demand picked up and the industrial goods segment demand continued to be strong," Shentianma said.
In this regard, Shentianma will actively enrich LTPS product portfolio, accelerate the expansion of LTPS in IT display and vehicle display fields, and expand market share.
